Accountancy practices

A sales funnel is just the road from interested to signed

For a practice it is not a sales pitch, it is the path between somebody wondering whether to change accountant and somebody sitting in your first meeting. Most of that path is currently a contact form and a hope. We build the pages, the follow-up and the booking so a decision that takes weeks does not fall over in the gaps.

The outcome

Changing accountant is a slow decision, and slow decisions leak

Nobody switches on impulse. There is a trigger, then weeks of putting it off, then a shortlist, then a conversation with a business partner or a spouse. A practice that only exists at the moment of the enquiry is absent for the whole of that. The work here is being present, usefully, across the gap, without anyone in the practice having to remember to chase.

The parts of the path we build

A page that answers the question they actually have
Not a brochure. Whatever the enquiry is really about: a switch, a first set of accounts, a growing payroll, the page it lands on speaks to that one thing and asks for one action.
Follow-up that runs without anyone remembering
The second, third and fourth contact are where most of the value sits and where practices almost always stop. It runs on its own, in your firm's name, and stops the moment they reply.
A first meeting they can book themselves
Asking somebody to email to arrange a time adds a week and two more chances to change their mind. They pick a slot that is genuinely free and it lands in the right diary.
The whole path visible in one place
Which enquiries are live, what was said, what is due next. Not so the enquiry can be managed as a pipeline, but so nothing is dropped because the person who took the call is on holiday.
Hammered steel, every facet catching the light.

What it’s worth

The gain is almost never more enquiries

Same number of enquiries. Fewer of them lost. Speak to everyone who asks, follow up twice more than you do now, and make booking a first meeting effortless, and you convert noticeably more of the traffic you already have. All before a penny goes on advertising.

The cost of not doing it is invisible, which is why it persists. An enquiry that went quiet is indistinguishable from an enquiry that was never serious, so nobody investigates, and the same amount leaks every quarter.

How it’s built

Your pages, your data, your firm's name on all of it

Every enquiry the funnel captures is yours, stored against your practice and exportable at any time at no charge. The funnel itself runs on our shared platform, which is what keeps it a monthly fee rather than a build. If you want it moved in-house we will hand it over and quote the setup honestly.

  1. Registered to your businessThe phone numbers, the ad accounts and the spend that runs through them, the website, and every client and call record. All in your organisation's name, and all of it stays with you.
  2. The automation runs on our platformThe workflows themselves sit on a shared platform we run and maintain, which is what keeps it a monthly fee rather than a build cost. Our route into your accounts is a permission you grant and can withdraw.
  3. If we stop working togetherYour accounts, numbers and data stay exactly where they are, and you can export the lot at any time at no charge. If you want to take the automation in-house too, we can hand it over: that one is a migration with a setup cost, and we will quote it honestly rather than pretend it is a switch.

What it takes

Find the leak before building anything

The free Leak Check follows the path a prospective client takes through your practice and shows where it breaks. Often it is one step, and one step is a much smaller project than a funnel.

What owners ask first

Is this not a bit aggressive for a professional practice?

It would be if it were written that way. Nothing here involves pressure, countdown timers or discounting, none of which work on this buyer anyway. It is the same follow-up a good partner would do by hand if they had the time, done consistently rather than when someone remembers.

We already have a website. Does it need replacing?

Usually not. Most practice sites are perfectly decent brochures that were never asked to convert anything. Adding the path is a smaller and cheaper job than a rebuild: the pages an enquiry lands on, and the follow-up behind them. When a rebuild genuinely is the answer, we will say so.

Who writes the emails? They have to sound like us.

We draft, you approve, and nothing goes out in your name that a partner has not read. The sequences are short and plain, a professional practice sounding like a marketing funnel is worse than no follow-up at all.

What happens when somebody replies?

The automation stops immediately and a person takes over. That is a hard rule. The most damaging thing a follow-up can do is send its next scheduled message after a real conversation has already started.

Can we see it working before committing?

The Leak Check shows you what currently happens to an enquiry into your own practice, which is the honest version of a demo. After that we agree a two-week baseline, so any improvement is measured against your numbers rather than a promise.

Find out what's recoverable in your practice

We contact your practice the way a prospective client would, by search, phone and web form, then show you the fees you could be winning. Scored on three things: are you found, is the enquiry answered, does anyone chase it.
